Our Parking Lots Paving Process

Step 1: Site Preparation and Excavation

Similar to the concrete parking lot installation process, we begin asphalt paving by preparing the site. We ensure all utility lines are taken care of. Using a dump truck, we remove any debris or obstacles that may cause problems during installation. It is also during this process that we excavate the parking space.

Step 2: Subgrading

Subgrading compacts the base course material and creates a smooth, level surface for paving. It is a vital step in the paving process, as it helps to ensure a strong foundation for the new asphalt.

Step 3: Installation of Drainage System and Layouting

After the subgrade, the next step is to install the water drainage system. This is an essential step to avoid standing water and damage. The drainage system will allow water to flow away from the parking lot and into a drainage ditch or other drainage area. Once the drainage system is in place, the next step is to lay out the asphalt. We do this by first marking out the parking lot's perimeter with flags or stakes. Then, we use a string to mark out the proposed layout of the parking lot. Step 3: Pouring of Asphalt

Step 4: Curing Process
